Rhoda The Riveter

This painting is inspiring. Reminiscent of Rosie The Riveter, it seems more appropriate than the political pandering that inspired the original World War II icon. This painting gives you a more virtuous look at the struggles of women, especially black women, in America and around the world. She is beautiful, she is strong, she is both common and unique. This gorgeous painting, created by Tim Okamura, is for the moment my favorite piece of artwork.
